In 1987, we founded AWGA with the mission to provide the best in facilities and instruction to golfers at all levels.  The AWGA widely experienced instructors provide dedicated tuition supported by the most advanced computer analysis and using proven teaching techniques. Head Professional Alan Wilson who has been in the industry for over 30 years, Alan has spent his career helping golfers from beginners to touring professionals, and has seen and solved every swing problem imaginable. A no-nonsense approach coupled with a thorough understanding of the golf swing, together with a long teaching history makes Alan a masterful instructor for any golfing enthusiast

Facilities

Colonial Coaching Centre is the premier golf teaching and practice facility on the Gold Coast. Boasting a large grass teeing area, ample bunker, chipping and pitching space to a full sized green and an impressive separate putting green, we have it all for you to enjoy. 

Our pro shop is fully stocked with the latest in golf equipment, gloves, range balls, drinks, accessories and much more. The trained Professionals can help you with any golf equipment enquiry and will be happy to provide you with a personalised club-fitting, using the most state of the art techniques available.
