Are hotel accommodations included in the price?

The quoted price does not include accommodation, we ony includes transfers to/from hotel.

What courses does the school play?

Example courses include Royal Pines Resort, Lakelands, The Glades, Palm Meadows, Hope Island, Sanctuary Cove, Emerald Lakes, Robina Woods, Colonial and Arundel Hills where you will learn how to manage your way around the golf course and develop a strategy to cope with the challenges that inevitably emerge on the golf course.

Where is the Teaching Facilities located

Facilities are based at Colonial Golf Course which is the premier golf teaching and practice facility on the Gold Coast. The course is located close to Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, Conrad Jupiter's Casino and the Gold Coast Convention Centre.

What are the facilities like at Emerald Lakes Golf Coaching Centre?

Colonial Golf Course Golf Coaching Centre boast a  large grass teeing area, ample bunker, chipping and pitching space to a full sized green and an impressive separate putting green. 

What is the student to teacher ratio in your schools?

We have a maxium 4:1 student to teacher ratio.

Can I attend as a true beginner?

Yes, the instruction is very individualized and based on the needs of the student. Pairings for afternoon golf are organized by our professional staff and based on experience and skill level.

Who are the instructors and are they Class A, PGA Members?

Alan Wilson head the program, all additional instructional staff are members of the Australian PGA. In addition, they are all trained and certified Instructors.

What will we do in inclement weather conditions?

If we are unable to continue school as planned due to bad weather conditions, a full or part refund will be credited to your account.

Which airport should we fly into?

Gold Coast Airport

The Gold Coast airport is twenty (20) minute from Royal Pines Resort.

Domestic passengers are greeted outside departure area inside the terminal. The driver will display a welcome board with the passenger’s name, please make contact with the driver ASAP.

International passengers are greeted outside the custom exit doors inside the terminal. The driver will display a welcome board with the passenger’s name, please make contact with the driver ASAP.

Brisbane Airport

The Brisbane airport is sixty five (65) minute from Royal Pines Resort.

Domestic passengers are greeted outside departure area inside the terminal. The driver will display a welcome board with the passenger’s name, please make contact with the driver ASAP.

International passengers are greeted outside the custom exit doors inside the terminal. The driver will display a welcome board with the passenger’s name, please make contact with the driver ASAP.

Do you provide a shuttle service to the resort from the airport? Is there a fee?

Serveral airport transfer and tour company are based on the Gold Coast, service offer customers travel from either the Gold Coast, and/or Brisbane airports. Staff meet all Domestic and International flights 24 hours a day 365 days a year, and offer a door to door service to all hotels and resorts.

Please notify us if you have any excess luggage/golf clubs etc. at the time of your booking so a trailer can be arranged for you.

What materials will we be able to take with us following the school?

You will receive a CD containing video analysis of your full swing improvements along with a summary of key swing thoughts that will help you continue your development.

Are meals included with the package?

Yes,  lunch is supplied daily at the golf course and included in the package price.

Can my spouse come and stay with me while I participate in the Golf Academy?

Your spouse may come with you, althrough  additional charges may apply for return hotel tranfers, cart hire and lunch if required.

Will the staff tear my swing apart

No, our staff prefers to work with the positives you already have while focusing on the one or two swing issues that are impacting your ball striking and scoring.

Will your instructors go out on the course with us for instruction?

Instructors will accompany clients on the course for 18 holes and provide on-course. Our goal is to help the students transfer swing improvements made at the practice facility to the course.

Does your schools include a club evaluation / club fitting?

Yes, we have a club specialist / fitter at the school and evaluate your clubs to determine if they fit your personal swing shape and physical characteristics. In addition, a large number of demo clubs are available for students to try.
